Valentine’s Day Makeup Look!
'Tis the season of love and I want to embrace it with a sultry and smoldering makeup look!
Turning away from the soft and romantic eye looks for the occasion, I opted for seductive smokey eyes and bubblegum pink lips instead! I call this look, “Bombshell Beauty”—-alluring dark eyes, rosy pink lips, and voluminous lashes!
For my eyes, I used my new Lorac Pro Palette. What enticed me to purchase this palette, aside from the amazing reviews, was the beautiful array of matte and shimmer eyeshadows. You all know how much I adore my matte products and I really love how this palette has a nice mixture of matte eyeshadows on the top, and satin/shimmer eyeshadows on the bottom, equaling to a total of sixteen eyeshadows altogether.
The blend of eyeshadows in this palette is great for creating practically any kind of makeup look and the palette itself is very lightweight and travel-friendly. The eyeshadows are extremely build-able and blend-able, although I did find that the shimmer eyeshadows had quite a bit of fallouts, that is a small issue that I can overlook. This palette overall, is a winner in my eyes!
For this makeup look, I used:
Pewter: Inner Lid and Outer Lid
Gold: Middle Lid
Deep Purple: Upper and Bottom Lash Lines
On my cheeks, I am wearing my new and beloved Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in “Candy Glow”. This blush is absolutely breathtaking! Of course, the adorable pink heart packaging is an instant eye-catcher, but this blush is so pigmented and beautiful! I adore the pink family trios and when I swirled my blush brush into the shimmery colors and applied them to my cheeks, they gave a stunning rosy hue and gorgeous glow!
I think I will collect the other two recently released blushes in this collection because I adore this one so much!
For my lips, I am wearing the Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lipstick in “PPK002”. Etude House is a Korean cosmetics brand. This lipstick has a smooth and creamy finish that delivers moisture and a soft shimmering flush. It also has a lovely rose scent and not to mention, an undeniably adorable packaging!
If this makeup look is too dramatic for your liking, just switch out the pink lipstick with a nude shade for a more wearable look.
I hope you all enjoyed this makeup look as much as I did! I just love pairing gold eyeshadows and pink lipsticks together—-there’s something about this combo that always gets me!
